I haven't surfed this forum or any detailing forums for a while. We usually get a somewhat bad winter here in CT so I took today to prep my little beater, a 1994 red honda civic cx hatch. It received a full tilt detail when I first bought it in 2011. It's a one owner car and looked like it was in the Mojave desert for years LOL. Zero gloss. I used some menzerna and the FLEX buffer to remedy that. Rotary/wool on a few spots.

Fast forward to today. :) Last year, I gave it a once over with Meg's ultimate compound using my cyclo and green pads. It did a nice job. A few coats of Collinite 476s and 845 went on before winter hit. It held up pretty well. The car is garaged on occasion so it wasn't hammered too hard. Hadn't given it any TLC until today when I used the same menu, Meg's u/c, cyclo, green pads. 476s just went on a little while ago. I'm waiting 12 hours before I use the white or blue pads and wheel an app of 845 to seal it up. The car has 180+k on it and runs like a top. Rear 1/4's as expected are getting worse and worse. Eventually, I will have them fixed, but for now...this little jellybean keeps the wallet happier by being efficient on fuel and maintenance costs.

Here are a few pics:

I will definitely use some 845 on the wheels. I think it's had paint work here and there....Thanks! I try to keep my cars in good shape. It needed TLC.
