Review & How-To: Optimum No Rinse Wash & Wax

Nice review. I have a weird question. Has anyone gotten nauseous from using this? I usually don't wear gloves and after using for the first time I got a little nauseous toward the end. I figured it was probably something I ate and blew it off. Used it again last weekend and the same thing...

What to use on running boards Steps?

Ruh roh. Seems like I still may have to at least try it. I have the OEM Toyota running boards that only have the plastic on the step pads and the rest is chrome. I may just try applying on one of the back steps as I rarely have anyone in the back seat. I'll let you know my results once it...

What to use on running boards Steps?

Thank you for letting me know that. We've recently had a cold snap here in Virginia so I haven't tried anything yet. Thanks for your other suggestions too. //bluegoose//

What to use on running boards Steps?

This set is the OEM Toyota ones that just seem to fit perfectly (not too nerfy, if that makes sense). So I really don't want to replace them. I'll prolly try a few of the options listed and go from there. Thanks for the suggestion. //bluegoose//

    2010 Tundra Keyed Last Night

Dang. That's just wrong. I have a 2010 Tundra too and that would kill me. I agree with others tho, I'd have to get it fixed professionally using my insurance or I'd never be happy. Good luck. //bluegoose//

What to use on running boards Steps?

Hi All, My truck's chrome running boards have black plastic pads where you step when getting in. They've really been fading lately and like to restore them but am hesitant because I don't want to make them slippery or obvious reasons. Does anyone know if Black WoW or Ultima Tire and Trim...

Wanted to Try Some DP Poli-Coat Paint Sealant or Megs #21 For The First Time.

I never let it cure that long. I thought the cure time was just until it dried to a light haze? I've found it to be pretty easy to apply and wipe off but like I said, I never let it stay on too long. I got the BOGO of it when they closed out the old packaging and still have over half of the...

Ultima waterless wash or optimum no rinse?

I have to say ONR for an all around product. I seem to use it for just about everything (clay lube, rinseless wash, QD, spot cleaner, etc). I really need to try UWWP+ too as I've been dabbling in waterless washing lately and hear this works great for that. Good luck. //bluegoose//

Did About 10 Waterless Washes Last Week- All I Really Have to Say Is....

I will soak my MF towel and wring it out before wiping off the waterless wash then buff with a dry one. Most products recommend spraying the waterless wash on and wiping off with a dry towel which is the way it sounds like you do it. Was just wondering if you ever had any trouble with...

Did About 10 Waterless Washes Last Week- All I Really Have to Say Is....

WoW. I must be using way too much product as I use a full 32 oz for my Tundra (even when it's not too dirty). Also, I've been using my MF towel wet and wringed out vice a dry towel. To me it just seems to clean better. Have you ever tried that or is dry the best way to go? Anyhoo, great job...

Diluting Klasse HGSG for spray sealant?

Yep, agree. I followed Mr. Killrwheels method he posted in another thread and just put it in a small 2 oz spray bottle and lightly sprayed one panel at a time and wipe on with one MF and buff off with another and it works fantastic. Think this might be one of the best tips I've come across...

Doh! Didn't realize that was someone else. My bad. //bluegoose//

    Using ONR

You look like you're doing it exactly how I do it. Not sure why it's taking so long, as the section you just did in your video took about 1:50 and that was a whole door/window combo. Seems to me at that pace you should be done in about 30 mins. It takes me about 40-45 mins to do my Tundra but...

So I went to the Griot's HQ today

I know this is a little off thread but I noticed Griot's products being sold at Autozone last week. There was a big end of aisle display. Not sure if this is new or not but I never noticed them before. Could come in handy in a pinch. //bluegoose//
