good ideas! i'm def gonna try the cuticle stick wrapped in MF that would be perfect for tight spaces! what do you guys use on oxidized emblems? Do you polish by hand with whatever you are using on the car ? or try to clay? I tried scrubbing with car wash soap but that didn't do it

UPDATE: State 3 ( TX) doesn't have the vac either! lol I was told they no longer carry this vac, so instead of trying to go to kobalt I got a shop vac brand vac instead. I'm about to google were to get a longer hose and attachments. Anybody know where to get good deals on these ?

sorry to bump and old thread but how do you get one?!...I tried 3 different Lowes in 2 states and they didn't have them. When I asked if I could order they said no. Online I can add it to my cart but then it says unavailable!

When using APC plus on a dash, or door jambs (painted parts) is it necessary to wipe off with water after ? or just spray on and wipe off ? This would be 10:1 and 4:1 ratios. I know if I use in on exterior paint I have to reapply wax which is why i'm asking. I just don't want damage anything...

thanks for the info! I used a micofiber and 4:1 and rubbed it. Came out pretty good. Once again thanks for the good info. I need to pick up one of those brushes!

I don't have a boars hair brush :-(....but I have a soft toothbrush I can try....should I use a circular motion or back and forth motion ?

Hello I am cleaning my friends 2005ish civic. I vaccumed the interior but I never had to really clean a microsuede. I have folex and megs APC plus diluted to 10:1 and 4:1. I just don't wanna mess it up. It's really matted down. Since I don't have a wet dry vac would I just spray10:1 scrub it...

Is there any trick to polishing around emblems? I know some emblems are worse than others, but on my car I can see a difference where it's not polished. Back of a brush wrapped with terrycloth ? or terrycloth just by hand?...thanks

porter cable 7424xp. There are lot's of how to videos on here and I used one for the first time a couple of days ago and got decent results. Just read read read........there is a TON of info and product.

awesome.......do I need a green pad for 151 when using it as an AIO? I've heard trying to finish with an orange pad leaves scratches. With Menzerna Power Finish I assume I would start with an orange pad first then follow with a white pad for it to finish nicely? If there are minor scratches...

I washed my car, clayed it with clay magic, then I tried a spot with PB PwC on a white pad....looked better but wasn't quite there. Went with megs swirl x on a white pad then went back over it with PwC (this seemed like a waste). Only did rough parts with swirl x and orange pad...then went back...
