So I bought a PC XP and have 2 orange, 2 white 2 black 5.5 LC flat pads. I did my car and been bit by the bug. I would like to do this on the side for friends to make some money. I want versatile products so I could tackle most paint conditions.
I have magic clay, Megs swirl X, PwC, Megs APC+ , stoners invisible glass, Collinite 845.

I know megs 105 is heavy cutting and megs 205 is fine polish and I know swirl x is similar to 205......I'm looking for something in between. Would megs D151 be a good choice ? I know D151 has wax but I wonder how high I could step it up and down. I also know if I follow it with m205 I will strip the wax.

anything else I will need in the line of polishes ?

It is always good to have the 105/205 combo. Pretty hard to beat.
Menzerna Super Intensive Polish is in between 105 and 205.
Menzerna Power Finish has the cut of SIP but will finish down last step product ready. So it is like doing a two step on a car with only going over it once. D151 is a good All In One polish as well.

Look into the Optimum polishes as well. Hyper Compound II, Polish II, and Finish Polish. They do not dust, easy to wipe off, and finish down well.

awesome.......do I need a green pad for 151 when using it as an AIO? I've heard trying to finish with an orange pad leaves scratches.

With Menzerna Power Finish I assume I would start with an orange pad first then follow with a white pad for it to finish nicely?

If there are minor scratches left when using a fine polish and white pad would I step down to a black pad or do more passes with a white pad?

Is the green pad actually necessary? Feed back please
