Adapt should work fine here. Use speed 3-4, and shrink down your work area significantly. I stay with 12-18" square, and make 7-8 passes. Adapt has a very long work cycle if you use it correctly - and you need to run it for awhile in order for the oils to properly breakdown.

Thanks Mike. I am tempted to order this system, but I have had such incredibly good results with HD Adapt and the Rupes Yellow pads that I really cannot imagine a better result...at least from a cut/finish standpoint. I'll keep a close eye on what the reviewers say, but for now, I'll continue...

I just ordered a 6-pack of the Cutting Foam Discs. Based on Wills' review, I have some high expectations for these. I will keep everyone posted on my findings.

The learning curve is just steeper with the Rupes. Early on, I had rotation issues as well. It just takes a while, and after you get some experience with handling the machine, most of your rotation issues will go away.

OP - can we get an update?

Usually the quickest way to get rid of heavy DAs haze/micromarring is to use the same product again, but on a medium foam pad. If you don't have any foam pads, you can try D302 on a finishing disc.

M101 on a medium foam pad should knock down the haze to a minimal level.
