    Wheel cleaner???

I'm getting wife's 2003 T"bird cleaned up. Wheels are terrible. What's the best off the shelve stuff I can get today to start cleaning them up? Also what works the best for road buggers on lower side of car? I washed and tried to soak to lower rockers today but it still needs some care...

    should i wax today

Yep! things started cooling off quickly yesterday and I only managed to do little. After I came in, the time and temperature was on my TV and it was a low 50 and falling fast. Like I said before, the wax did not spread, dry, and/or remove as easily. I used two MF towels to get the product...

OK....... This should bring out the faithful. I was looking for somene to address temps for waxing. But what the heck, I started anyway. The wax was a bit thick and I ended up waxing the car at about 50 degress but still had sun. I got the top done but it did seem to dry slow and stay...

Pic upload test - Epic Vette

Well it looks as if it has just about everything! I'll bet it's still fun to drive. Too bad you could not get pics of the blower scope. I wonder what it looks like from the driver seat? :buffing:

    Windshields

Yes, sand blasted one by one, little stinking rocks. One of the cons of driving a vette (or any DD in the burbs). They are low to the ground, so even the littlest of the little stinky rocks get a shot at my windshield. Maybe I should not clean the windshield so good. That way the dirt can...

    Windshields

I was cleaning up the windshield this past weekend and noticed what looks like little tiny dings or chip marks. The glass is clear but with the sun hitting it, it looks like little shiny reflections. What can resolve this? I have been using IG but ran out. Time to go get more. But I was...

What is a good TIRE Dressing?

Yeah that is the stuff I used when out of tire stuff. I think it has "protector" in the tittle as well. But it has for "interior" vinyl and rubber on the label as well. Seems to last a couple weeks too. I haven't purchased any tire stuff sense using this stuff, no need. Cheers

What is a good TIRE Dressing?

I can't remember exactly, but Meg'g interior cleaner stuff. I'll check, it's at home and I'm at work. It's just the stuff you can pick up at Target or any auto parts kind of store.

What is a good TIRE Dressing?

I used some meg's interior stuff on my wheels one time because I was out of tire stuff. I use the interior stuff very sparingly on the interior because it is kind of greasy/wet look. I really spread it thin and looks better to me if I do. I like the clean look better that the wet look on...

How To: Clean Your Wheels and Tires

I've wondered about the common sense of cleaning wheels first also. When I look at the reason most used, it's to make sure that the harsh dirt/brake dust does not get on to your newly washed car. But if you happen to slop some the dreadful brake dust dirty water on the car paint by first...

    Winter comming??

I live in Virginia. COLD is relative, but for me too cold to wash by hand. After below 50 F, I don't want to be washing the car outside. I'm sure I'll end up doing it a few times anyway, but I can see me not doing it for a while. Sooner or later, I figure 8 weeks max, I'll be cutting off the...

    Winter comming??

With winter on the way, what steps do the folks here recommend that I do to protect my paint as much as possible? I have 02 vette, and I have not yet decided to park it for the winter. I really don't want to drive anything else, but I want to save my baby as much as possible also. The temps...

    hello

I'm just an old man that got a black vet. The terminology to describe what I see in the reflections of my car's paint, I'm trying to learn. Spider webs look like spider webs. What I see seems to move as I walk around the car, but aways in about the same place. I thought all I needed was...
