I'm just an old man that got a black vet. The terminology to describe what I see in the reflections of my car's paint, I'm trying to learn.
Spider webs look like spider webs.
What I see seems to move as I walk around the car, but aways in about the same place. I thought all I needed was a good wax job and they would be gone. After reading around on this and other detailing sites, the term holograms came up. That is the best way to describe what I see. I think buffer trails might be a good description also. So holy holograms batman!!
I paid a place to detail and got f'd. So now the only thing for me to do is do it myself. I have been impressed by the willingness of folks to help from this site as well as others. So thanks to all that have offered. Does the hart good. Of course web sites are a great way for manufactures to sell products through these forums, but folks that (little guy or dealer) are willing to help out is great.
A fellow vet owner has offered to come over and help. I hope that this guy is going to say "is that all!, this is nothing" and point me in the right direction.
Part of dealing with this is the right space to work. Thats why I paid money to the experts. I have to strategically wait on the weather to give me the right working conditions. Then work on an area, and wait to see results. This means cool non sunny work days and then sunny days to see results. Well now I wax on.
Thanks for your response. I'll keep at it. I just don't want to make big mistake. In the mean time these buffer trail holograms are quite annoying.
