    They got him.....................

It's unlikely he'll get sent to a blacksite given the information we have. The brothers don't seem to be a part of any organization, of course that's up to the FBI and other feds to discern, but if it's just some angry Chechen who hates the west, there's not much for the feds to learn other than...

Question regarding combination of pad + polish

People toy around with pad/product combinations a LOT on this site. From what I've seen, there isn't anything really clear cut, pending the condition of the paint and the machine/pads/products you're using. This is one of the many instances where I attribute detailing, or paint correction...

    The most over-rated products?

I refer to a restaurant as a Mexican eatery if they serve mexican food, and every other 'Mexican' restaurant I've dined at has served it, thus the initial surprise and the (inaccurate) statement. I think that's pretty fair, and I do realize the distinction of Mexican food and Tex-Mex exists but...

    The most over-rated products?

lmao nope i wanted to but i also wanted to see if the barbecoa lived up to the hype it would have, had there been cheese dip

    The most over-rated products?

Chipotle doesn't even sell queso dip. How can you call yourself a mexican eatery and not sell queso dip. Went once, got a barbecoa burrito, asked for cheese dip, they said they don't serve it, I was || that close to leaving the burrito on the counter and walking out.

    What got you into detailing?

My first car was a hand-me-down 1992 Honda Accord, there was already clear coat failure and oxidation over the entire roof panel (I didn't know what it was called at the time, I just referred to it as FUBAR) and the A/C was busted. Needless to say, being 16 and working as a lifeguard, I didn't...

    D156 vs V7

I haven't used D156, I've used UQW if that's indicative of anything. V7's pros : SMELL (orange cream sicle), slickness (slicker than bfwd after curing for comparison's sake), how so little goes such a long way, looks great, trim/glass/everything safe V7's cons : price, durability not so much...

    Best spray wax?

In my experience, no, oddly enough. I'd spray the drying towel, pat dry and very rarely if ever would I need to follow it up with a plush towel for streaks/excess. Yes, while it's referred to differently they are essentially the same thing. However, if water was the only/best lubrication then...

    Best spray wax?

Could it possibly be: - Lubrication for the drying medium - A way of priming the medium (as in those who pre-soak their WW towels and wring them out prior to use) - Possibly combining the step of a final wipedown into the drying step for gloss enhancing purposes In my experience anytime I hit...

    IPA wipedown

Mike Phillips's excellent thread on diluting/preparing an IPA solution : http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/hot-topics-frequently-asked-questions/31183-how-mix-ipa-inspecting-correction-results.html It would be easier to buy a product like GG Paint Prep or CarPro's Eraser but for some it's...

    Best spray wax?

Do yourself a favor and keep that squeege away from your car... :nomore: Practice this flooding technique (starts at 1:44) and all you'll have left is trace amounts of water to carefully blot with your WW and the obvious water in the jambs, nooks, and crannies...

    Open to new products/methods?

Welcome to AGO! If the truck's exposed nearly 24/7 then for protection then you might want to consider some options like DG 601/111 or 601/105 mixed at a 1:4 ratio, Collinite 845 or Menzerna Powerlock, heard nothing but great things about the durability & looks of all of these, UPG+ as well.

    I guess I gotta buy...

You can knock out the first 3 with Meg's APC+, at least 2 and 3. For maintenance wheel cleaning CG Diablo Gel because it's concentrated, smells good and creates shaving cream foam, for powerful cleaning I'd suggest something like Sonax Full Effect or other similar de-ironing wheel cleaners...

If AG carries these -- I QUIT

These are infinitely worse than the reindeer antlers, not so much the nose, cause the reindeer nose is awful, but I could only see these being even slightly appropriate on maybe specialized show cars with spunk but not much else..
