are the bissel pro heats good?

I got one as my first 'extractor' machine or what have you. Works great for spots and relatively newer stains but won't do a damn thing (even with Folex) even after numerous treatments to serious stains. But I wasn't exactly expecting that either. Pick up a bottle of Folex (Home Depot cleaning...

    Removing pin stripe glue

I got a little bottle of Griot's Garage Adhesive Remover included in my free gift from here a while back and I tested it out on a couple of different residues and it worked faster and cleaned up easier than Goo Gone or Goof Off ever have for me. I'd definitely suggest trying it out, it might...

How can I take black spray paint off of my alloy rims?

    The Original Forum Favorite.

DP Max Wax has been referred to as Souveran's little brother, I'm looking at Collinite 915, CG Pete's 53, and P21S (not sure if I want Concours or 100% yet). All seem to be popular and/or favorites among those who use or have used them.

    Question on this Opimum wax..

Ultima Waterless Wash Plus+ Concentrate, concentrated waterless auto wash, waterless car wash and yes, Optimum Car Wax is a spray wax. I don't think any particular QD would be incompatible with any particular wax, be it OCW or 845.

    Crap!!!!!!!!! UPS Strikes again

Take screen captures each time the UPS tracking page updates with the shipment damaged notification, if it's happened enough times and you have some sort of invoice or receipt or some form of proof indicating that it did, I'd take it to the local UPS branch and seek a manager and see what can be...

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Water Beading due to Collinite 915 topped by 2 Layers of Collinite 845!! (Sealed CG V7 Hybrid)

I believe most that use a machine say they do so because it's easier to apply a thinner coat by that means, apparently 845 is a real pain to remove when applied too thick.

I am going on a one way trip to Mars, who is with me?

A reality show is supposed to fund the $6 billion dollar trip? Sounds promising for the astronauts.

    Advice from CG blacklight users?

I keep forgetting that, scratch what I said.

    Advice from CG blacklight users?

WGDGPS would work best applied to the bare paint, so would Blacklight. However, I'd rather the WGDGPS prolong over the Blacklight so I would do: WGDGPS Blacklight Dodo V7

    Chemical Guys V series

I've heard mixed reviews and a general sense of wariness regarding the line. I think a few comparisons exist but I'm not sure on that

VERSUS PART 1: CG Diablo vs Sonax Full Effect

Interesting take on a wheel cleaner review, I don't think I've seen too many (if any) without agitation. My only question about the review is the comparison itself. Is it just marketing or is Sonax Full Effect a truly different kind of wheel cleaner with the de-ironizing effect it has? I always...

    new guy with BFduo questions

If you're happy with the Blackfire line the next step would be to protect your paint with a sealant such as Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection (2 coats just because, 12 hour cure time between each) and then if you so desire, top it with a wax like Blackfire Midnight Sun. However...

Recommendation for a layered sealant and wax topped combo.

If you have slight scratches/swirls you could use CG Blacklight (glaze like fillers) topped with V7 and then put a wax of your choosing on top of that if you so desire, or you could go with WGDGPS topped with Fuzion, or there's Collinite 845 followed by 915, all highly praised combinations.

Any way to protect the car "badges" ?

I imagine any of the popular sealants could be applied to those as well, I use BFWD and when I do my car I just be sure to try and get every nook and cranny in/around badges/emblems and am just as sure to wipe the residue completely once it's cured. Could be something better, but that's my 2 cents.

MF towel sizes for liquid duties

Big fan of 16"x16" for anything on my paint besides a big WW drying towel. For some reason I like 16"x24" for glass or wheel/jamb towels.

    They got him.....................

To my knowledge, the death penalty was abolished in Massachusetts and has not been successfully reintroduced. If he was facing state charges, he could not receive the death penalty. If he's charged federally, well, capital punishment.

    Rookie - Exterior Detailing

Dawn is only really used in addition to car wash soap as an additive to help strip existing LSP. Some people outright avoid it and would rather use a dedicated APC like Meg's APC+ or CG All Clean+. You'll definitely want to pick up a dedicated car shampoo, even if it's just Meg's Gold Class from...
