They got him.....................

So glad they got him alive! That's a rarity these days. It seems like most commit suicide.

He'll just get a lawyer and work out a plea deal to where he gets life in prison, no death penalty... much like the "Dark Knight" shooter in Colorado. That waste of life made a damn deal for no death penalty. So every tax payer gets to pay for a killer to sit in prison, eat, sleep, breath and sh!t every day while his victim's families lost their kids?? What sense does it make? The same sh!t will happen with this bomber guy. True justice will not be done... maybe until the end of this world.

It's unlikely he'll get sent to a blacksite given the information we have. The brothers don't seem to be a part of any organization, of course that's up to the FBI and other feds to discern, but if it's just some angry Chechen who hates the west, there's not much for the feds to learn other than motive and known associates.

Also, whether or not he was read his miranda rights will make a large impact on what happens to him. If he wasn't, he may very well rot in some unknown room, if he was, he's got a great time to look forward to in prison.

I hope the families and victims get closure. Law enforcement in Boston pulled together and all involved great job.

He will face federal charges not state charges. He WILL be executed for his actions just as Timothy McVeigh.

What's the difference? Both people in each situation killed quite a few people, ruined a lot of lives. The only difference is bombs in one situation and a gun in the other.

To my knowledge, the death penalty was abolished in Massachusetts and has not been successfully reintroduced. If he was facing state charges, he could not receive the death penalty. If he's charged federally, well, capital punishment.

Terrorism is a national security issue so he will face federal charges. With the brothers being the main actors in this crime, suspect 2 has zero leverage for a plea deal. He still faces many state charges but the federal prosecutors will seek the death penalty. This will probably be the biggest career opportunity (spotlight) for a federal prosecutor and defense attorney.
