:iagree: I never had this problem before I bought the reconditioning brush. After I got it and used it a little, my pads look just like the photos. I won't use it anymore (I don't have wool..) and it was a complete waste of money as far as I'm concerned.

I had the EXACT same problem at a recent car show I was at, and my duster is at least a couple years old. I sat it out on a newspaper and all that too when I first got it... My God, it made a HUGE mess on my black car! :doh:

Just got my Daytona a few days ago and finally got to use it today. Best thing since sliced bread.... I don't know how I ever lived without it!! :dblthumb2:

I have used a damp washcloth and iron to remove candle wax out of carpet and it worked like a charm. I've also heard goo-gone will work.
