Thanks for the info
I think I will try and remove the visors and then try a hair dryer. My visor is cloth/material which is light beige.
So I don't want to screw up.
Removing the glue seems to be the hard part.
I just bought some Folex spray to do the headliner, but maybe something else would...
On my GMC there are these seat belt warning stickers in spanish on both visors.
Anyone ever tried to remove one and what was the result?
How do I remove these damn things?
Thanks for the info,
I would like to try this Folex. I have never heard of it before. I will google it and try and find it.
So Homedepot will have this?
I take it this the product you guys are talking about?
Folex Instant Carpet Spot Remover removes spots and stains
Also thanks for the tip...
My headliner is in need of a cleaning. It is light tan/beige and one year old. I never touch it but there are marks on it I do not know how they got there and driving with the windows open on dust roads it has accumulated some dirt.
What product do any of you recommend for this?
Also what...
I have been using a really nice brand new Car wash place. They have several bays and a state of the art touchless and/or soft touch brush wash. I don't go through the touchless I just use the bays. The bays have High Pressure Air Guns to dry the vehicle and a Foaming Suds Gun to suds it up. All...
Thanks All.,,,,
These products sound like what I am looking for and need.
Something to go on after a quick winter 2B bucket shampoo (to get the salt/road grime off) and rejuvenate the KSG.
Yeah i was thinking of using a spray wax during the winter when I have to do a 2BM shampoo wash to get the grime off. I very well could be in the 40's when I have to do this. What was that other product you mentioned? SCG Nano.... I can't find it?
I just went and read the write up on the pinnacle. That sounds like something I would like to try.
Do you think it would work well over the KSG? from what i read it would seem to.
I am still trying to figure out if I am better off with just spending some extra time just putting on the...
What measure of paint protection does it provide?
Will it enhance an under coat of KSG?
How long does it last?
Does it wipe right off?
Is it worth my time or am I better off just spending a little more time just adding the KSG?
What do you guys like and use and have tried as far as Spray on Wax/Sealant?
I have my vehicle winter protected with KAIO and 2 coats of KSG.
I am considering looking for a Spray wax to go on quick and easy(Spray and Wipe) to enhance the protection of the KSG after a wash. Is there a good...
I think you are right. I went and did a quick rinse and it was essentially useless. It got the bulk of the dirt off but there was still too much dirt left behind.
I will just do a 2 bucket wash with the manufacturers recommended amount of shampoo. I don't think it would be beneficial to use...
I have Griot's shampoo which I am finishing off and jug of Meg's Gold class shampoo up next. I guess I'll do some light rinses here and there and then when the real nasty road grime starts up I'll go with the 2BM. Maybe if the weather isn't too bad and I can catch a warm day I can get another...
what's lsp?
and....you don't think a wash with car wash soap/shampoo will remove some of the wax?>
I always use the manufacturers recommended amount of shampoo. But I would think that soap suds being rubbed around on the vehicle with a wash mitt(I have MF and Sheepskin) would take at least some...
I washed and waxed in Oct and put on a coating of KAIO and KSG. A few weeks later I rinsed the vehicle(it was just dusty) and did a light low suds wash and applied another coating of KSG. Now it is starting to snow and rain and I want to maintain that wax coating as long as possible. The vehicle...
Does it matter?
How cold is too cold?
Are temperatures in the low 50 degrees sufficient to apply a wax or sealant?
We are going to be over 50 tomorrow and I was considering adding another coat of Klasse Sealant Glaze.
