I'm guessing it was something like wd-40, or some other off the shelf oily substance. Especially since you're saying it was always wet and sticky. Who knows, I mean motor oil would remain shiny until you washed it off too. I doubt it was any sort of real car-care product.

Should be right on the top of the motor, to the left of the throttle body. Keep in mind, the p2185 just means the sensor isn't getting the correct reading - could be the sensor, the wiring to the sensor, or a stuck thermostat causing the sensor to read the wrong temperatures.

How cold is the paint surface and the wax while you're applying it?

Photoshop is powerful but takes a while to learn. Photoshop Elements is a stripped down version that will do all the basic stuff you need and is easier to pick up. Or, go with Vistaprint like Allen said, they have tons of templates you can manipulate right on the site, even car stuff.

Alot of people are very successful at selling cars. Why exactly don't you want him to do this? Sounds like you're trying to discourage him from something he enjoys, for no reason. Is there a reason that what he does for a living affects you so much?
