IMO i dont care what packing products are used to ship my products, as long as I get them undamaged. As Mark said, there are a lot of more important things to worry about than packing peanuts and if that is the most important thing you have to worry about, maybe you need another hobby.....just...

Are those wheels the ASA JH9? Not to be negative or anything, the car looks nice a little lower, but there are definitely better options out there for wheels. At the end of the day though, it's your car and you're the one driving it. :xyxthumbs:

did you try a light polish? If not, try something like m205 too.

I know it is tough to do a good job with it. I took photo classes in high school and college. Sometimes I would have a few choice words for the program :laughing:

looks good for not sanding it prior to buffing it. I bet he was happy, it looks a lot better than the before pictures.

As far as the swirls go, I think the dealerships like to give 5 year olds wash mitts full of rocks and go to town on your new car. Seriously though, dealerships have a tendency to put swirls in new paint...just the nature of the beast I guess. As for the roughness of the paint, maybe you need...

I would go with the lincoln...a friend in high school had a 9-3 and when parts needed to be replaced, it cost him a pretty penny.

m105 I heard can be hard to work with. 3m compound gives you plenty of work time.

I found 3m rubbing compound at advance auto. I have yet to use 105 but 3m is decent. You still need to use a polish though.

I would have to say nattys blue. Easy application and looks amazing for $20.

at least you were able to save them...that's exactly why I don't mess with painting wheels. If I want a different look, I buy aftermarket wheels, it's easier IMO.

I agree that I also think they are polished aluminum. Is it a different color where the chip is at as opposed to the rest of the wheel? I just want to make sure so they don't get messed up anymore than they already are. Rather than using nxt 2.0, I would use a wheel sealant like poorboys...
