    My only complaint about AG...

I noticed the tape sealing off the tops of each bottle. Thanks! Also, I accumulate the packing peanuts in a big bag and then being them to my local UPS Store. They appreciate it.

Visiting L.A. this week - Chemical Guys visit

Thanks for the reply, Chris! My wife and I visited L.A. a year or two ago and we really enjoyed the Santa Monica atmosphere including that pedestrian walkway flanked by shopping on both sides. We also went to Santa Barbara and the nearby wine tastings. We also did Griffith Observatory...I...

Sonus Motorkote Photos - 05 Accord.

Nice job! Is the alternator a little brown because you cover it when you detail the engine? What brushes and things are you using to get into all the nooks and crannies?

Best Choices for high longevity Trim Protectant

For my wife's new Mazda 3 I used Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant and I really like it. I used it around the windows, cowl, mirrors, wiper arms, etc. It beads water beautifully, acts like Rain-X on the mirror housings and has lasted a couple of months so far. HOWEVER, I tried a bit of it on the...

SEMA 2012 Recap - Win a Pinnacle Kwazar Combo!

This one is just so nice and clean...really classic. And this one! Never worry about swirl marks again! But seriously, very cool. And this one only because it's the embodiment of the reason AG exists! To prevent this sort of tragedy from coming to innocent sheet metal. :nomore:

    My Business card (criticism?)

I would use lowercase text on "and" in Full Exterior and Interior Detailing. Also, maintenance is spelled wrong. Use it the way I just did. I agree with g26er. The email address seems off. Otherwise, great start!

what is everyone doing to prepare for Sandy ?

I'm going to head outside in a bit and clean out the gutters along the back of my house. Beyond that, we have plenty of food in the freezer we can cook if the power goes out. Just some tips: - In case you're in a flood zone and your water gets contaminated, fill up your (clean) bathtub with...

Pinnacle XMT Polishing Pad Cleaner - Doesn't Work On Sealant?

Hey guys, I just got done outside for the day doing some correction steps and sealing. - 3M Perfect It II Rubbing Compound - I've been using this on my old '99 Civic that has been heavily neglected/abused. Did a test spot on my hood and was amazed at the gloss that returned. - WG Total Swirl...

    Pouring a 128oz into a smaller bottle

A note on pouring out liquids in general. It seems to make sense to put the bottle opening closest to where you're pouring (think a quart of oil). Many times pouring liquids out that way will make the product "gurgle" out and potentially make a mess along with making it difficult to pour the...

Washing car in cold weather climates

Congratulations on your new house! I live in a townhouse in Somerset with a single car garage. While I don't have room for a car anymore (too many woodworking tools, motorcycle, tool boxes), I have a 1/4 turn ball valve water spigot inside the garage next to the door going in the house. But...

    Tire dressing

Here's a question that bugs me. When you guys apply tire dressings that last for 2, 3 weeks or more...what do you do when it comes time to wash after a week? Do you scrub the tires again or stay away from the tires until the protection is gone?
