    A Little Car Trivia

:iagree:Looks like a 1940 or 1941 Packard One Eighty. Why didn't he clean it up for him while he was there? It looks like that stuff will buff out. :buffing:

    Recommendation: BEAUTY Wax?

When the term "sweating" is used pertaining to a car wax, is that referring to the separation of the waxes lower melting oils/waxes when the car is brought out into the hot sun? If so, you would think that would have been taken care of during the manufacturer process.

    WGDGPS-Seagull Crap

:wow: That's some potent poop! Wonder what it was eating? The bird might have been passing through from Mexico after eating some of their Jalapeno peppers. :detailer: So what waxes/sealants are more durable than others when combating bird poop? If a bird poops on my car when I get to...

    Which pad to use

:iagree: I would much rather try and do a mild correction than conceal and fill. But on the other hand, this product might be the perfect thing for someone's car that has thin clear coat and doesn't want to do anymore paint removal. :dunno:

    Which pad to use

This is from Poorboy's site... "Poorboy’s World White Diamond Show Glaze for Light Vehicles is an easy to use product.Spread it with a soft, clean foam applicator,(if applying by machine, set your polisher to a low speed) and work until a shine begins to appear. Allow it to dry to a haze and...

which is better wax or sealant?

For the original poster, here is another article that might help you decide between carnauba waxes and paint sealants. Carnauba Car Wax vs. Paint Sealants And as others have stated, there are hybrids. Only you can decide what is better for you, whether that be ease of use, durability, looks...

which is better wax or sealant?

I was generalising, so I didn't elaborate. IMO, waxes usually look better by adding more warmth and depth. Better for others may be the reflectivity from sealants. Beauty (looking better) is in the eye of the beholder.

Ultima Paint Guard Plus or Opt-Seal for a WOWA?

I have not tried UPGP, but I have used OS. OS is extremely easy to use and a little goes a long way. WOWA, but may streak a little. Easily fixed with a light swipe with a MF. I would have to question it's durability. Never seemed to last that long for me. I do like the way it looks. Like...

    FK425 instructions/help

I don't think I would immediately top Fuzion with FK425. The only time I would immediately apply a QD on top of my wax is if I had trouble removing the wax. (I would use the QD to assist in the wax removal.) I would wait and only use the QD when needed, like for removing light dust and...

    Wheel wells

I like to use CD2 Engine Detailer. It can be purchased at Autozones if you have any around you. Or any inexpensive tire dressing should work also.

    FK425 instructions/help

Use FK425 like you would any other quick detailer. It is used to remove light dust, fingerprints, smudges, etc. Mist a small panel or a section of a large panel with a squirt or two at most, and then wipe clean with a clean plush microfiber. If needed, flip the microfiber to a dry section to...

What can I use to remove polish splatter?

If you have a lot of splatter, you might be better off using HD Uno to remove HD Uno splatter. But you will have to reapply your LSP. (And be careful not to create more splatter.)
