I think as long as you really saturate the surface with a good panel prep and let it sit for 30 seconds to a minute, then wipe with multiple towels, you should be good to go. Washing again does unfortunately bring water back into the picture so I can see that being a time-consuming issue...

One thing that guy Ives got wrong is suggesting to use Dawn. Big no no. Waxmode even did a test showing how Dawn leaves something behind. So for him to suggest that is really dumb. But they do make degreasing tablets. Bilt Hamber also suggests washing with warm/hot water prior to a coating...

I agree. Beadcoat is getting great reviews so far for ease of use and beading. It's also pretty durable. Decent offering by Collinite.

I haven't used a wax in years. Once spray waxes and Sio2 sealants hit the market, waxes became dated. However lately I've been intrigued by some - BH DSW, Collinite and North Star. All offer incredible beading with decent durability. I'm just not sure if its really worth using a wax in 2025...

Well we know the 8 pH system is popular these days so maybe they want to have something on the low end of the pH scale lol.

Question, is there any evidence that putting a topper on top of a coating helps preserve the underlying coating? Sounds legit in theory, but I'm not sure it works that way.
