I've used Sonus Motorkote, Hyper-dressing, 303 and they all work about the same. Very little difference IMO.

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

What do you think of this comment: "Rinseless is not designed to release dirt from media. I'm not exactly sure why this is such an issue amongst internet detailers. Rinseless is designed to rinse less, pull away dirt with ease, and safe washing. Media's are designed to HOLD dirt. No matter...

    Rinseless Washes - 2022

I watched a review of the Griot's and apparently one criticism is it doesn't drop dirt from the sponge well. This dude reminds me of Jonah Hill.

    Kamikaze Over Coat 6.0

Borophene Formulation While "graphene," a next-generation nanomaterial, is a carbon-based nanomaterial formed into a honeycomb sheet, "borophene" is a metal-based nanomaterial structured in a near-honeycomb arrangement of boron, not carbon. Compared to graphene, its metallic properties give it...

    Washing car before coating?

I think as long as you really saturate the surface with a good panel prep and let it sit for 30 seconds to a minute, then wipe with multiple towels, you should be good to go. Washing again does unfortunately bring water back into the picture so I can see that being a time-consuming issue...

    Washing car before coating?

One thing that guy Ives got wrong is suggesting to use Dawn. Big no no. Waxmode even did a test showing how Dawn leaves something behind. So for him to suggest that is really dumb. But they do make degreasing tablets. Bilt Hamber also suggests washing with warm/hot water prior to a coating...

    Washing car before coating?

Not the first time I’ve heard this. Does anyone do this? I often wonder if some coatings fail prematurely due to improper prep, especially through the removal of polishing oils. I've watched videos of guys just spraying and immediately wiping in a very sloppy manner to remove polishing oils...

    New Collinite Products

I agree. Beadcoat is getting great reviews so far for ease of use and beading. It's also pretty durable. Decent offering by Collinite.

what's the last car care/detailing video you've just watched?

Their HPC 2.0 looks nice to work with. Primus 2.0 is great. Using it now.

    Well that's disappointing.

    New Collinite Products

I haven't used a wax in years. Once spray waxes and Sio2 sealants hit the market, waxes became dated. However lately I've been intrigued by some - BH DSW, Collinite and North Star. All offer incredible beading with decent durability. I'm just not sure if its really worth using a wax in 2025...

New BH product on the way?

Well we know the 8 pH system is popular these days so maybe they want to have something on the low end of the pH scale lol.

New BH product on the way?

I'm hoping it's not that. I wish they would come out with a more durable spray sealant or coating lite type product.

Just a guess based off a FB comment: "Looks to be an acidic shampoo that is called Renew"

How Do You Maintain Coated Vehicle

Question, is there any evidence that putting a topper on top of a coating helps preserve the underlying coating? Sounds legit in theory, but I'm not sure it works that way.

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Used Descale today as prewash. I have Primus 2.0 and BH on hand but was curious how well Descale would do against a lot of road salt. 2oz in my Marolex sprayer. It worked very well. Wheels, wheel wells and rims were clean just from prewash. Truck was loaded with road salt etc. Followed up with...
