Removing Overspray Paint using Nanoskin Autoscrub Pads

I will have to check this stuff out, I've been using traditional clay for a while and always end up dropping it. So my clay runs out fast. :xyxthumbs: With time usually lacking, if I could save some with a machine process I'd sure be happy. Especially when I have 6 cars to clay in the family.

Video - Jay Leno's Pissed Off Pete by the Blastolene Brothers!

Guess you got lucky! I would love to see a vehicle like that in person. The rear end shots give a great idea of how custom that rig is. Gotta love Canon as well! I've been saving up for a 5d mkii, but then the 7d came out with 8fps. Now I'm just lost... :xyxthumbs:

Using 6.5" pads with 5.0" backing plate

Thanks for the clarification guys. Rsurfers comment had me kind of wondering if I just wasted all my money. :D

Using 6.5" pads with 5.0" backing plate

can you please explain why it would be a waste of time? Maybe you would save me a big headache in the future since I haven't invested that much in the buffing pads yet.

Using 6.5" pads with 5.0" backing plate

Thanks, I'll go ahead and do that. haha how would it waste money? doesn't one 6'' backing plate cost less than 8 or more brand new polishing pads? I was just thinking that a different size BP would be so much easier than all new pads. I would then cover more surface area (but that's why I'd get...

Using 6.5" pads with 5.0" backing plate

bummer, looks like I'll have to go with the 5.5 inch pads as well. But it kind of sucks that how I have 8 useless pads (2 each of orange, white, grey, blue) now. However If I go with the 6 inch backing plate, it would be better than having to buy all new pads. Or is it just better in...

Using 6.5" pads with 5.0" backing plate

Sorry to bring up an old thread guys, but I didn't want to make a new one about the same thing. If you shouldnt use the PC7424 with a 6.5'' pad and 5'' backing plate, why is there a kit using this exact setup? Because I ordered that kit from Pinnaclewax.com and thats what they gave me. As far...

    Detailing Outside?

Thanks! I was also looking at one from Cabelas- although it costs a lot. It certainly looks a lot stronger- wouldn't want a canopy falling on a customer's car. haha Thanks! Having shade would certainly make things more comfortable and less disturbing for the neighbors that have to see me...

    Detailing Outside?

Hi Guys, I was wondering if anyone had tips on detailing outside as I do not have a garage to work on my car. How beneficial would it be to purchase a canopy in order to work in the shade while outside? My main issue is the lack of a garage or "proper working enviornment" to detail my...
