I've found it to be the best looking product for exterior rubber although it doesn't last very long. Big deal! just reapply. UTTG is the best for hard plastics.

I fixed 80-100 chips on my black Marauder with the Dr kit. Had little luck with the smear technique so I used the fuzzy, toothpick type applicator in the kit. I applied the paint with the applicator leaving blobs just above the surface. Let dry for 3-4 hours and removed with a tee shirt backed...

A few of the detailing sites have reported good results using a 50/50 mixture of Helmsman clear spar varnish and mineral spirits on headlights. Mix together and apply with a paper shop towel(the blue one). Good luck!

Have it out when Dad comes over and tell him how great it worked and thank him. Then store it away and only drag it out if he asks about it. Tell him you don't want to over use it as it was a gift from him.

I had to throw out the bottles I had left. Turned to water after a few years of storage in my basement. The compound still performs well.

Shake it up! Just like you're supposed to. I bought a kit and it sat for over a year unused. Shook it up before use.....no problems. Best chip repair kit IMHO.

Nice videos Garry. I too got excellent results with the kit. I didn't use the dab and smear method. I used the small fibre brush that was in the kit to apply to each chip and added more after about 30 min to those not completely filled. Waited about two hours and then removed with no paint...

I doubt that the problem is with the cotton towels as I've been using them for removal for almost 50 years with all types of LSP's. Product was applied very thin with a PC and a red pad. As others have noted my problem is most likely due to using too many products from different manufactures...

What you say makes sense, just have too many products and tried to use too many. Ninjas? Pffttt...

I spent about five days on the paint on my black Marauder recently. Paint chips, multi stage polish, PO85RD, Black Hole, Wolfgang Sealant, Blacklight and finished off with Souveran. Questions: Does Souveran or any other beauty wax that claims to darken the paint have this effect when applied...

Michigan, too hot in the garage in the summer, too cold in the winter. Everything is kept in the basement.

Don't touch it! Take it right back to the dealer! All you did were washes once or twice a week-GOT IT! If you tell the dealer that you followed any of the "suggestions" any warranty will be denied.

Here's what I do. On the way to the show find a shady spot a short distance away, pull into the shade, let the paint cool, use your normal spray detailer. Good to go!
