Although mine is a bigger one for our home, we have a North Star generator that uses a Honda motor. About half the price of a full blown Honda. We have one that is 6600 watts and 8800 peak. Since buying it 10 years ago it has powered our home during many many outages including Super Storm Sandy...

Two weeks ago it was "warm" enough to take the cars toa self-serve bay then come home and do a rinseless wash. It seems the storms come in one right after another. Awaiting a Nor'easterin the next two days and no totals yet. Spent the pastcouple of days shoveling off our roof.

I haveboth the fine mitt and block and both work great. I used the Glide spray,7:1, for the lubricant. I have read complaints from folks about scratches, especially with the mitt. Just be sure to use it as directed. In other words don't use the mitt on the intial wash with a dirty car. It...

Nice work! We had a Saab 9.3 convertible as a fun car. Lucky for us, we had a local shop that specialized in Saab repair and upgrades. The car did have a couple of quirks but was a fast cool ride. Ended up giving it to our niece and it has been pretty reliable. With regards to GM buying them...
