Hi AGO.

Anyone who knows me here for a length of time knows that I'm a real dog lover. I had "My Girl Jack" for 16 years and never really knew anything about dog training or the energy that dogs will follow and how to get them to want to really please the master.

Then along came "Kinzer" who was a vicious biter who I was called on to take and have put down for a girl I know after he attacked her daughter. I tried really hard and put a ton of time into turning him around with the help of forum member "Hoytman". Bill gave dozens and dozens of hours of his time trying to help me turn Kinzer's behaviors around and sadly I wasn't able to do it. Kind of like turning a pickle back into a cucumber....I just couldn't do it.

I did however grasp a basic knowledge of dog behavior and learn how to have a calm assertive energy with dogs. I was heart broken at the end of working with Kinzer and ended up Getting "Colt The Bolt" (pictured in my avitar) I quickly began building a bond with Colt and applying my recently learned training methods to Colt. With the help of forum member "Blown03", who upon meeting Colt in person pointed out the tons of drive he saw in colt, I began really learning dog training methods and techniques.

Colt has come a long way since the day I got him. I'll take some videos as time permits of Colt doing tricks and basic obedience drills and post them in this thread.

I encourage all other forum members to post similar dog videos in this thread if you have them.

Here's the first one shot today after Thanksgiving dinner.

Here's pretty much the same video but shot just yesterday after a lot of practice.

Colt is getting much better at his tricks - YouTube

The sound you hear after I give the "stay" command is me dropping Colt's dinner into his food bowl, I can give that stay command, drop the food in, then walk out of sight into a different room in the house and Colt will still be sitting in that stay command when I come back into the room to release him from the command....

I'm so proud of him...:dblthumb2:

I wish I was quick enough to catch my dogs. The corgis lay on there back and twist to catch their tails. Just one problem they have no tails!
