    Meguiars ultimate fast finish

I just wish that dust and pollen wouldn't stick so well to UFF and Megs Spray Wax. But maybe that's the nature of dust and pollen on all waxes, sealants, etc.

Because of everything I learned from Autogeek ....

Yeah, good luck with that. Mine has 86k on it and it's almost devastating to see a new scratch and chip. And when I do the scratch myself, ugh. It's just not easy dealing with it, lol. First world problems, yeah?

Does foaming the car REALLY help or not?

I have a CG foam gun that I have only used CG citrus gloss and wash with. Other than being fun for the kids to apply for me, I don't think it does very much at all. Laying it on as thick as possible, it runs off fairly quickly and because the car usually has a layer of traffic film on it, it...

BLACKFIRE SiO2 Spray Sealant review by Mike Phillips

What I dont understand about these products is that when you do the final wipe off, aren't you removing some, if not all, of what you just applied?

Did my first oil change today! Pics

It's a good feeling doing basic maintenance on your vehicles. You get to buy the materials you want and at a price you want, too. The problem I have is that I have a 300C SRT8 that rides low and has that bottom splash guard with a ton of screws holding it on which is a pain to remove. Had to...

    PFM question....

I also use the GG pfms, 16x16. But I start with a CG waffle weave grey matter towel and then final wipe with pfm. I wash Microfiber together as I found MY CG yellow microfibers got real linty after washing and drying with cotton items.

Anyone else ditches the 2 bucket method?

So Scott was using a lightly dusted car as his example. What about my black 300c after a week of commuting in the rain with the attendant road film, dirt, bits of leaves? Sure, some of the dirt comes off along with the leaves with a power washer. If I have a foam gun attached to a hose. So, if...

For all the naysayers who say you can’t clay black paint w/o marring

I've used Griots clay bars for years and can't recall ever seeing any marring at all on my black or dark blue vehicles.

Re: Need 3" backing plate and pads and an AIO Thanks...I've always had a question about headlights...when I use a compound or even something like the McKee's AIO, do I have to re-clear coat or re-do the aio at some point in the future? I know with the 3M kit I would because I am removing...

Need 3" backing plate and pads and an AIO

Yep, brilliant black pearl paint. I've been debating between the D166 and HD Speed. I like the reviews of D166, but HD Speed seems like an all-around winner. I've got Megs UC, UP, and UW for when I want to go all in on a weekend detail. But I have so few of those weekends, so I'd like to be...

Need 3" backing plate and pads and an AIO

Why do you think so lowly of 3" pads? Whenever I use the 5" pads on mirrors or bumpers, much of the pad is not in not contact with something and I'm worried about slinging product.
