Griots garage PFM Terry Weave Towel Mini-Review

Just looking at Advance Auto Parts today and online the site indicates no discounts can be applied to this product. Booooo, but still, cheaper at AAP then even at Griot's or Amazon.

Liquid WOWA sealant enough protection for Pacific Northwest winter?

I'm here in Portland, OR, and just topped off my ride with UFF. It'll be the first winter so fingers crossed. We don't use much deicer down here, so the past few winters the GG Best in Show held up fine on daily driver as did Megs Ultimate Wax liquid. Is it advisable to layer a product like...

Review - Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish

I park in a parking garage in downtown Portland, OR. The car always seems to get dusty and did so before using UFF, which is why I looked at UFF. So I don't think it's a matter of UFF attracting dust as much as its a dusty environment and the dust settles in the paint and seems to stick rather...

Review - Meguiar's Ultimate Fast Finish

I loved applying this over the top of my megs ultimate wax as it went it easily and smoothly. Not being familiar with products that flash, I was concerned about what appeared to be evaporation of the product and now know its intended. 1 area of concern is dust. It seems that dust sticks very...

    Favorite Spray Wax/Sealant

Man, if I could find something that doesn't allow dust to adhere to my car that would great. In trying UFF now. I park my car in a parking garage and it's always breezy bringing dust onto my car. The dust seems to just stick and after just a few days I'm forced to wash because I can't stand...

    Favorite Spray Wax/Sealant

Whatever happened to DP Quick Wax in that aerosol can? Are there similar products that work as well? I tend to use Megs Fast Finish as a lsp, then between wax jobs after maybe every 2 or 3 washes, I use Megs Quick Wax. But the Quick Wax doesn't seem to freshen up the shine...

    New windshield care

2006 300C SRT8 with 85k miles. Had the windshield replaced and after the first 2 which had defects and my own user error, I have a 3rd that I want to make I sure protect, if possible. The 1st 2 windshields I applied rainx to and while the 1st turned out well, the second ended up with this haze...

Towel selection for all uses and cleaning care

Thanks... Do you use them on a soaked car or after blowing most of the water off? If soaked, what do you follow it up with to clean up the left behind streaking? Or is there no streaking?

Towel selection for all uses and cleaning care

I'm a backyard/garage detailer washing and detailing my car and, now, several neighbor cars. I've only ever used old bath towels and other soft towels for drying (stop throwing rotten fruit at me!!) without, that I can see, any adverse results in the paint. I usually take my largest towel to a...

    ceramic coatings vs Zaino

Glad to see another Portland area guy on here...I've been experimenting on our daily drivers since moving out here from MI where outdoor detailing was great 6 months out of the year. Here in Portland, though, it seems that 8-9 months out of the year make it challenging to detail if you don't...

    Critique my plan of attack

Yeah, I'm gonna try the Ultimate Fast Finish on top of the Ultimate Wax...I guess since I haven't touched this car for a year, I'll polish forst and see what happens with the swirls and if they're not removed, then go with the compound, then wax and fast finish.

    Critique my plan of attack

Thanks for the advice and tips. Do you not see any need for the Ultimate Compound? And would you choose the GG best in show wax over the Ultimate Wax? Thanks, again.
