I dont care much for GSM's when it comes to Cobra towels, because all their towels are top notch & work very well. I use the golds for wax/sealant removal, and their thicker purple deluxe ones for QD/Spray Wax. Cant go wrong with any Cobra, dont worry.

Touchless car washes often use harsh chemicals to wash your car. They have the potential to damage and dry out your rubber seals. Once in a while shouldnt hurt though.

I agree. When I use LC plates, the velcro really grabs on my Megs pads like theres no tomorrow, I have to literally peel them off. On the other hand my Meguiar's BP's make it so easy to remove my Meguiars pads. Not really a huge advantage, but it does make it easy for me to swap pads literally...

It makes detailing around smaller panels easier, especially if you have a 4" pad with a nice bevel edge on it. It also makes using paste wax a breaze. Just make sure you get the right BP for the respective pad your going to use.
