how many of you are using microfiber pads as a one step?

ive used the megs cutting pad with megs UC on my green 99' expediton. LSP ready after that :xyxthumbs:

I know this is a one step thread but having said that on a side note...You can indeed finish down with great results using MF finishing pads particularly the Megs pads on any paint.

The trick is very slow arm and rotation speed. I'm talking having the pad just barely rotating. The slowest speed you can set on your DA with the pad rotating.

Then slow arm speed down and the most important thing is you must, must , must ...keep the pad clean by blowing it with air after every panel.

Also once you initially prime the pad, use very little product for each section after the initial prime. I'm talking two small pea size drops per section.

In summary

-Prime pad initially

-Two small pea size drops henceforth

-Slowest rotation speed possible to maintain pad rotation

-Very slow arm speed

-Clean clean clean the pad after every section

-Use Megs finishing pad. They have been much improved since inception.

I would like to see pictures please. Just curious! Mf will correct and no doubt make a swirled mess look 100 times better but in my experience foam will correct down to more of a respectable level. Depending on what your clients expectations are, I 9 time out of 10 can get superb results from foam pads as a one step.

Here is a 1 step with Meg's MF pads with D300.
