As far as durability....I think it's a wash. In my experience, Ultra Lock Plus had better slickness and gloss. It is the easiest product I've used.

Back in stock....picked up a bottle of it. Tried it last night on my wife's Yukon. Honestly, I really do not see what all the fuss was about. It's a decent car soap at a decent price point, but the user experience was nothing special. To me, the only thing it has over HyperWash is the smell.

I can't see why it wouldn't make a good topper for coated vehicles.

I hear you. I always price check between Amazon and whatever the online retailer is offering....weighing discounts vs free shipping....I'll even factor in shipping times, and might be willing to pay a couple of extra bucks to get the item quicker.

They will be if they bring their sales back!! Since the transition......their sales have flat-out sucked. I find myself getting more from Detailed Image these days.

Never tried that one....but recently got some Gtechniq Ceramic Wash. My truck has MOHS EVO on it, and was not very dirty, so I figured I'd try it. Similar to other ceramic shampoos, it produced very little suds. I do believe the truck was a little more glossy when done.

Or less than 34 months from now? I'm not familiar with that product....what are their claims as far as longevity?

While it may seem outrageous to offer/perform a wash/clay/seal (without a polish), you'd be surprised at how many people I've offered that to, that love the idea, the price point, and the results. I typically only offer it on cars that are already swirled, as the great majority of people really...

Took me around 12 hours to do my Tundra. Paint was not too bad, but I also did not go after any deep scratches...perfection was not the goal. A lot of time was spent masking off for the polishing phase. I also think the coating itself has something to do with it....as it pertains to flash...

He put a microfiber cloth between the magnet and the paint. He was careful not to pull it across the paint, and only checked areas common for rust repairs....lower quarters, rockers, lower fenders, around windshield and rear windows.

I use DLUX on wheels and plastic trim. As The Guz said, it is tacky....but not terrible. It's worked very well for me. I typically give it a little boost now and again with Ethos Defy.

I'm not sure I can blame the product....there's a good chance I did not rinse it well enough. I was pretty sure I had, and thought the margin for error was too slim with it....especially when combined with my propensity to mess up
