You pretty much nailed it. On a side note, HCW tends to leave noticeable smearing on dark paint, IME, so I use beadmaker instead. I applied it to dry paint initially, and now use it as a drying aid after my weekly washes.
LOL...you're clueless. P&S is one of the few companies that actually manufactures their own products, and they're quite good. VERY far from the Jay Leno product line.
I wouldn't use it on a coated vehicle, as the water behavior is lacking. But the gloss and slickness is top notch!
I read somewhere that Brake Buster has anti-corrosion inhibitors, so when cleaning wheels, spray the rotors before rinsing and the rotors won’t rust. Had to try it for myself and......it’s true! No more Hyde’s Rust inhibitor!
I cleaned one wheel with Brake Buster and sprayed the rotor while I...
Don't forget those that aren't nearly as experienced as you with coatings. CQ LITE.....wipe on, wipe off!! NO need to deal with flashing time. This is a BIG factor with the LITE version. You're not forced to buy the product.
Agreed. I'm trying one more alkaline wheel cleaner. P&S Brake Buster. Someone claimed the corrosion inhibitors prevent rust from forming on the caliper after rinsing. I won't be sold until I try. If it works, that would be awesome!
MOST pH wheel cleaners(non iron removing) are ineffective on siloed wheels. Once wheels are deep cleaned, they are excellent to maintain with. The iron removing pH neutral cleaners tend to do very well on soiled wheels, as well as acidic and alkaline cleaners.
