I think Sandro nailed it. Great drying aid or quick detailer. Has excellent ease of use, good lubrication, very slick..............but lacks in paint saturation/richening, hydrophobicity and durabilty.

I use Kleenstrip Prep All....love that stuff! I've been saying since day one, that 3D ONE is very oily. However, it gives some pretty good results, so I deal with it at times. Works well in the sun, doesn't dry out.

What ratio did you use? I got a lot of suds. I do agree the slickness was not the best I've used, but the soap went a long way on the panel. This is a big plus to me.

Have you found any LSP that will only be stripped by solvents? I would assume Carpro water spot remover will strip any LSP not resistant to acid like the others you mentioned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've used/owned both. I like iOS WAY better!

I use the Rupes priming method as well. I think it would be even more important with the blue HDO.

They've been advertised as specifically made for a long throw. I used the orange one with the 3401 this weekend and it worked GREAT! I looked into the LC SDO pads, but I think the firm interface of the HDO keeps more even contact on the paint. On a side note, if the paint cooperates, the 3401...

It does not contain any gloss ehancers or wax, it just cleans. Will not affect water behavior of a coating. Very average soap as far as lubricity and cleaning, IMO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m not a fan of SOFT finishing pads on soft paint. Need a bit of firmness. I like the Rupes yellow pad, or LC thin pro white pad on soft black paint. Sometimes orange HDO. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
