Update.... have not really done much with the paint besides washes. On Friday my daughter asked for help cleaning the vehicle. So in about 90 minutes we washed and clayed and did tires and wheels. The coating is definitely still there!!! I'll get pics shortly showing the beading.

CarPro doesn't advise against a second layer, so go for it. Even though it has been just 2 weeks I would still decontaminate and clay before putting the second layer on... just to be sure the second layer bonds well to the first.
