Simple Green (green liquid) and other similarly formulated APC's will corrode bare metal (particularly aluminum) if allowed to dry on it. Diluting the mixture reduces the risk and never eliminates it.
So rinse thoroughly with water!!!!
Megs Degreaser, APC+, APC, Optimum Power Clean and other APC's sold on AGO do not have this risk at all.
What I tend to do is go to a touchless car wash that offers undercarriage wash... no brushes, no wipes by the staff at the end of the line, I just take it off their lot dripping.
