Hey Chad, How long did you work the product? #83 works really well if you only work smaller sections at a time. Work like a 2' x 2' section. Do not work the product to a dry buff. You want to remove it while it is still wet. You don't want to work the product until it is gone. Also consider...

I have to say. I am starting to wonder about the durability now also. The shine is still there but I do not have the beading or sheeting action that I had 2 weeks in. This is after 2 washes. It has been exactly 14 days. I will try to get some more pictures and post them over the coming weekend...

Try to always use the least agressive method first. Neutralizing the acid is a good idea. If you have left it on to long and it has etched into the surface, you could use a product like Meguiars Scratch X to remove the mark. It may take more than one application though. Andy 101impala

I have used both. The regular or original QD, I only use for claying as lubricant. I do like the new Ultimate QD, as it does offer a little protection, and you will notice a difference in gloss enhancement. The UQD is not really suited for claying as it is slicker and does cost more than...

Meguiars Ultimate QD offer a small amount of protection and actually does sheet water, The regular QD is motly for dust and fingerprint removal, not protection. The regular QD is also better used as a lubricant for claying while UQD is not. Andy 101impala
