I have a lot of swirl marks and holograms in direct sunlight showing on my dark metallic blue paint. I tried using a DA with various pads and compounds/polishes, but it doesn't seem to make any improvement... Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried Lake Country white, orange, and black...

That's not really appealing to me. I'm going to go ahead and order one of the kits with the Griots G9...

I’ve never used a machine before, always done everything by hand. It’s just the door I’m looking to do, so I figured it was doable by hand… But when I look at all of the polishes on Autogeek, they all have instructions for orbital/DA machines only… Thanks for the reply!

I have a Mazda CX-9, dark blue, and it’s mainly on the drivers door that is the problem area. Is there a fine polish I could use by hand to correct? Any recs for a product and proper technique? Thanks!
