I have a Mazda CX-9, dark blue, and it’s mainly on the drivers door that is the problem area. Is there a fine polish I could use by hand to correct? Any recs for a product and proper technique? Thanks!

I’ve never used a machine before, always done everything by hand. It’s just the door I’m looking to do, so I figured it was doable by hand… But when I look at all of the polishes on Autogeek, they all have instructions for orbital/DA machines only… Thanks for the reply! You can remove holograms by hand but man, your arms and shoulders are going to get one heck of a work out. You could be really sore the next day. I am guessing you are wanting to avoid buying an expensive polisher? If that is your reason for wanting to do it by hand, maybe consider getting a sub $20 palm sander like this one:
and if you go to the detailing section, you should be able to find a few medium polishing pad and a bottle of Meguiars polish.
If you are hard core about doing it by hand, I would recommend spending some time watching Youtube videos for technique.
That's not really appealing to me. I'm going to go ahead and order one of the kits with the Griots G9...If you're nervous using a DA, just go to a professionnal detailer and they will do miracle for you.
Good choice and welcome to the asylum. That's not really appealing to me. I'm going to go ahead and order one of the kits with the Griots G9...
