    First time using UPGP(thanks...)

You can, of course, do so, but then there really isn't using UPGP in the first place. Two coats of Colly 845 provides solid protection and durability. The reason to use UPGP is its ease of use: wipe on and walk away. Why apply a wax on top of it?

    Need reccomendation on good AIO

If you're looking for an inexpensive AIO you may be able to find locally, then I'd recommend Meguiar's ColorX. It will clean up the paint and improve the look of the car, which at this point is all you're after.

I've changed something from here on out...

Yes, that is my policy for my black S2K. I too have noticed marring from claying, so I now only clay when I intend to polish the car (which is about once a year now). On the other hand, I do not see any clay-marring on our silver blue CR-V. Perhaps I need to try an ultra-fine claybar. I...

    Blackfire Products?

Blackfire Wet Diamond is my favorite synthetic sealant. I like it a lot. I find it easy to apply and remove and have not had much of a problem with dusting. The slickness is second to none. I can't imagine AG ever carrying BF products, just as I can't imagine PAC ever carrying the DP line...

    Best Carnauba Under $50?

Another vote here for Victoria Concours Red. I'm presently using it on my black S2K and I love the look. I also cast a vote for P21S 100%.

wax and Glazes for daily use car

For a daily driver, Collinite 845 or Duragloss 105 would be great. Both will give you durable protection. Your car will look good in both. Don't get caught up with layering different waxes/sealants on top of each other. It's a waste of money--plus the practice may well compromise durability...

Water spots on CR-V roof rails

Would Duragloss 501 work, or would it stain the plastic trim?

Water spots on CR-V roof rails

I'm not even sure what to call them--roof rails? I'm referring to the black plastic strips, both lengthwise and crosswise on the roof of our CR-V. Anyway, they are water-spotted. Before applying an ordinary polish (M205? Ultimate Compound?), I thought I'd better ask the brethren what what...

    What is your favorite AIO?

I know your pain! Do you have problems with water-spotting, too? Water spots are the bane of my life! If I don't wash my S2K within 24 hours after it's been rained on, I'm stuck with the water spots until my next polishing session. :(

    Frustrated...permanent damage?

I'm sure that for just a test spot a 50/50 dilution would be just fine, but use whatever ratio you deem best. You just want to see the paint as it is, so you can make a judgment whether you are getting the level of correction you are looking for. Hopefully the Ultimate Polish will clear away...

    Frustrated...permanent damage?

The hazing you are seeing is nothing for you to worry about! Hazing will often occur when one is using an abrasive polish to remove scratches and swirls. It's just an inevitable consequence of scratch removal, especially on softer paints. With the right product and technique it will be easily...

WHich is better, fuzion or chemical guys 5050?

I sold my never-been-used tin of 50/50 a few months ago, so I never had the chance to actually try it out. I'm a bit disappointed, as I've read a lot of positive reviews; but one can only try out so many waxes in a lifetime. I love Fuzion. I love the look. I love the ease of application...

To glaze or not to glaze

With the two glazes I have used, M07 and Danase Wet Glaze, I have not seen much, if any, swirl-hiding ability. I guess it depends on the product.

To glaze or not to glaze

I have used M07 (oil-based) and Danase Wet Glaze (acrylic-based) on my black S2K. The glaze does add gloss, but after I have topped it with my favorite wax, I honestly cannot say that the car looks any different than it would have if I had skipped the glaze. Maybe I just can't see what...

    Wheel Wells

I use Griot's Undercarriage Spray, which seems to last longer than other products I've used (but I hate the smell). If I want the convenience of an aerosol spray, I turn to Stoner Trim Shine.

    Is Tire Dressing needed?

I agree that tire dressing is optional. Many folk are happy with just a clean tire. For a locally available tire dressing, I'd try Surf City Garage's Beyond Black. It's a water-based dressing and will not sling. It will leave the tire looking wet and black. It's available at Advance Auto...

    Need a new AIO

You might want to give Meguiar's D151 Paint Reconditioning Cream a try. It's generally recognized as having more cut than most other AIOs out there.

How can I keep my red cars safe In 100+F Weather!?

I would seriously consider purchasing a tin of Finish Kare 1000p. According to the manufacturer, it is heat-resistant, with a melting temperature exceeding 250F. It has a signature look (some say it looks as if an additional layer of clearcoat has been applied) and is a great value.
