Hi again.

I need some sugestions for a good wax for layering for an everyday car.
Any suggestions for glazes.
Price is a consideration as i am a student.
Thanks,

Hello, XMT 360 is an all in one that works very well. Collinite 845 wax is very nice and cheap to.

Perhaps DP Poli-coat which I believe is on BOGO tonight. No glaze needed, and quite durable too.

Another one for Collinite 845,since price is a factor Id try optimum polish since its on sale or either Duragloss #105.

Meguiars Ultimate Wax gets my vote. Easy on, easy off, great looks, great protection.

If it is a daily driver then I would go ahead and hit the car with Colorx first to remove any dirt in the pores of the paint and remove slight haze. Top that with Ultimate Wax and you should be good to go!

Collinite 845, Poor Boy's Natty Blue and/or Red are good and inexpensive waxes for a daily driver that I use on my car. Chemical Guys EZ creme glaze is good, and Klasse AIO and Klasse glaze.

XMT 360 is a great choice, then top with a carnuba like Natty's red

Around here "wax" and "sealant" are two very different things that accomplish the same thing...shine.

For my DD, I use multiple layers of Poorboys EX. Technically a sealant, it has a gloss and durability that blows me away.

And it's available as a sample bottle that should let you try it and still have money for pizza and other college needs.

For a daily driver, Collinite 845 or Duragloss 105 would be great. Both will give you durable protection. Your car will look good in both. Don't get caught up with layering different waxes/sealants on top of each other. It's a waste of money--plus the practice may well compromise durability.

I will suggest, however, that you invest in a cleaner wax, like Meguiar's ColorX or Duragloss 501. It's good to periodically clean the paint with an All-in-One product: it will remove staining, water spots, contaminants, etc., as well as provide a layer of protection. Then top the AIO with your chosen wax/sealant.

845 or DP poli coat. i put 845 over the DP with great results! both are great on their own. and true. i believe DP is BOGO.
