    “New” car for the wife

Hey y’all. It’s been a minute or 20 since I’ve been on here. Glad to see this place is thriving. Looking for some guidance on stuff that’s out of my wheelhouse. We got a 2013 explorer base for my wife since it has third row. Owned by an old guy in my family who sold it super cheap. 76k...

    AG's Newest detailer

Hey everyone. Life's been crazy hectic with work and traveling and my wife being pregnant. At any rate, on Tuesday, March 8, Jackson was hatched! I'm going to have to put him on a strict training regimen so I have a sidekick during details.

    Dr. Colorchip or Langka?

I believe I am going with Dr. Colorchip simply because the defects I have aren't terribly deep, and I don't know that I care for the Blob Eliminator. Seems like it can be difficult to use. PM sent.

    Dr. Colorchip or Langka?

Not a problem. We all understand that logic here I believe.

    Dr. Colorchip or Langka?

Haha heck yea I would. So thanks for the response rtexasf. So you think langka is better for deeper scratches? Even with the squeegee version of Dr colorchip that AG sells? That seems like it'd be better for filling deeper defects.

    Dr. Colorchip or Langka?

Hey everyone, tried to do some searching on this but I didn't really get any results. If there is already a thread, I apologize. I was curious what people prefer for filling slightly deeper rock chips. I'm looking to do this on my 05 STI

Thanks builthatch. I attempted searching this but came up with a ton of other stuff that wasn't relevant. It could have been my search criteria.

    Best nano coat?

I've used both the Opticoat and standard CQuartz. I think Opticoat may last a tad longer but I was curious if any of the coatings out there are harder such that they resist scratches a bit better

    Best nano coat?

Hey everyone. It's been quite some time since I've been active. I really hope that changes. At any rate, with the increase in nano coats and such over the last few years, which ones do you guys find to be the longest lasting and/or most resistant to scratches and swirls? If the CQuartz Finest...

Paint Correction: Hood Scoop and Spoiler

Hey, I have an 05 in WRB. The spoiler is fine to do as long as you're careful. When i did my hood scoop, I used a 4" pad, and then took out the windshield sprayers. I also taped off the hood when doing the scoop, and taped off the scoop when doing the hood. As far as aggressiveness, the WRB...

    Window streaks

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've been on. Lots of traveling and such for work. At any rate. I bought this 05 sti in December and this problem is driving me nuts. I carry a microfiber and wipe it almost daily but still. When I put the window down, it leaves marks on the window. I think...
