Well, I did get my cars clean just in time for the snow. I know my neighbors think I am insane. However, I do feel better. There is something theraputic for me when I clean the gunk off the vehicles.

I have not taken the onr plunge yet. However, it is 32 degrees at 10:54. I will make an attempt today. So what if it snows tomorrow. To my detailing friends, hang in there. Warm weather is just around the corner. :xyxthumbs:

So anyway , the kit that you want to order is a great starter kit . The page that you attached in the post explains what polish goes with the proper pad . Keep it simple and add pads as you become experienced . Too many pads and products can be confusing when you start out . AG has a great...

I think you are off to a fine start . You will add as you need and as you see fit . Much depends on the condition of your vehicles to begin with . Experiment and enjoy !

I am also interested on how to treat the side stripes . I will be detailing a black mustang next weekend with the same color scheme

I have read that on this forum , and I believe it . The purple haze seems to be very attractive to dust , pollen , and birds too. I love the deepness that I see when the dust is removed , so it is very worth the tradeoff . I put on the dodo a bit backwards , soft wax then a hard < p.haze then...

Agree that the dodo samples are a good deal of fun to use . Also agree that dodo seems to be a dust magnet . Have been using the california duster alot since it has not rained in days here in NY .
