    Autozone Stepping Up?

Thats a bad move for Autozone. Most people that buy car care products from there is usually looking for a one step cleaner wax or some DIY product (although I must admit I sometimes end up there on Sundays).

Prep for Sale Pt. 1 -- Undercarriage

:iagree: I wouldn't even care if I had the Corolla with the faulty gas pedal...I'd rather drive that than a glorified Daewoo!

Prep for Sale Pt. 1 -- Undercarriage

I HAVE been a passenger inside a Cruze. The Cobalt is my personal preferecne. If you like the Cruze better, I respect your opinion and hope that you can respect mine.

    how come?

:iagree: Hmmm. I always got email confirmations in the past. This definitely needs to be looked into. Maybe it's some kind of software failure with the AG website.

    how come?

Hmm. Maybe the shipping labels they printed got messed up and they needed to print a new one. But twice in a row is a little weird. I would definitely contact autogeek and maybe even UPS (once you get the right info.) to see if you can arrange for a Saturday delivery (if you will be home on...

    Porter Cable 7424XP

To be on the safe side, I would get the backing plate directly from whatever manufacturer you decide to go with because it might mess up the counter weight and it won't orbit right (probably unlikely, but you never know). Ans also get FLAT pads. I got CSS pads and I am sorry I did.

    6.5 pads on PCXP?

I would stick with 5.5" pads. 6.5" pads will need a different counter weight and backing pad and will not perform as well.

    Powder Coated Tool Box

First of all, nice truck. Second, if you have a picture of the tool box, that would be great. Generally you can use the same methods that we use for regular paint. Use a compound, and if it is really bad, you can wetsand it. Please note that I am not exactly a seasoned detailer, nor do I...

Do you cringe when you see someone wearing watches and rings while detailing a car?

I never take my watch off when I do work on my car. I guess I should, but I don't. I do mechanical work to help pay for college and I've had my watch ripped off many times, but I guess I don't learn...

Prep for Sale Pt. 1 -- Undercarriage

+1 You can NOT kill a 2.2 Cobalt...believe me I've tried! I put canola oil in an old cavalier and it still ran, even with 270,000 miles on the clock!

Prep for Sale Pt. 1 -- Undercarriage

The Cobalt might be a little small, but I believe Daewoo and Suzuki had a hand in designing the Cruze. I feel that GM makes the best cars, but I absolutely HATE imports with a passion so I'm gonna have to say Cobalt is better than the Cruze, but to each his own.
