What about 50/50 Valspar spar urethane and mineral spirits?

I use a DeWalt 849 rotary and either of two combinations: 1. Menzerna SIP 1500/SF 4000 or 2. Meguiars 105/205 After 1 or 2, I then finish with 3M Ultrafine Polish.

If you don't have the money for a buffer you can try doing it by hand with a Meguiars Hand Pad, some Lake Country Polishing pads, and some Meguiars Ultimate Compound. It will take a while, but it can be done.
