    Blackfire Wet Diamond Consistancy

I bought a bottle of BFWD back in 2011, and it was the perfect consistancy, like a polish. You could easily place a couple pea size drops on your pad. I used that up finally, and bought a new bottle this spring. It's horrible to use!! Like water!! It runs off the pad, splatters, etc. Hate...

What's a good One step DA Polish system?

I decided to buy some FG 400, along with some MF cutting pads to use first to get rid of the swirls on my son's black Camaro and black Charger. I'll follow up with my SF 4500 with all the white foam pads I have, then seal with BFWD, and BF Midnight Sun wax. I was thinking about trying to cut a...

What's a good One step DA Polish system?

Thanks guys. I'm sorry, I should have been more explicit. With this cruel Chicago winter, I'm just starting to think about, as my wife calls it, making love to my car. My one step, I simply meant a light touch up of polish to get rid of minor swirls. I fully intend to use BFWD as a...

What's a good One step DA Polish system?

I did a total 3 step paint correction with a PC on my 2 black cars last spring. Even after careful hand washings, I still have some light swirls now. Does anyone have a good suggestion on an easy one step PC polish combo? I'm thinking about doing a touchup on each in the Spring and Fall to...

Do I have to use a LSP after claying?

The Charger is my DD into my work (a steel mill in NW Indiana). Within a month, my car doesn't pass the baggie test. I keep it spotless thru the week though, washing it a couple times a week. I like keeping any gunk off by claying, but just didn't want to go thru the whole detailing process...

Do I have to use a LSP after claying?

I just did a full paint correction on my 2007 Charger this summer. Of course, it still looks great. I used BFWD as a sealant, and just did another coat of BF wax after the last wash. I love the way the car looks/feels after claying. My question is...if I want to clay, do I have to strip the...

So, you're wife is on your @ss about the $$$ you spend on detailing supplies?

I think he was kidding by his question, but.........I used Menzerna 1500 with orange, and then Menzerna 4500 with white---standard LC flat pads. Honestly, the shower enclosures are a medium gray, and one is under a skylight, and they really did polish up and look amazing. Somehow, I don't...

So, you're wife is on your @ss about the $$$ you spend on detailing supplies?

Yep...me too. But here's how I beat that issue.... I just spent 2 hours with my PC7424, some orange and white LC pads, and some Menzerna polishes. On my car? No. I ended up polishing up the shower and tub enclosure on 2 of our bathrooms. Then proceeded to get out water stains on the glass...

    2 Gallons of Meg's Final Inspection $0.10

It seems like the stores that actually carry 105, 205, and the rest of that line (only about half AA's in my area do) have taken off the shelf, and you have to ask. But, the price went up I think! Over $40 for 32oz 105!

    2 Gallons of Meg's Final Inspection $0.10

The trick is to buy some other stuff with it, then if/when the clay or Final ring up higher, just say you don't want. Then the .05 price gets "hidden" with the other stuff. Lay low. Scored two more clays, and one more Final...I'm done!

    2 Gallons of Meg's Final Inspection $0.10

I hit Hammond,IN store. They were really clearing the shelves in the "body" aisle. Grabbed the last gallon of Final Ins, then a bottle each of 105, 205, 7 glaze, 26 wax. I found 3 clays too. Only the Final and clay came up .05. The 101 was a whopping $40.50!! Others were way higher than AG...

What's a good one step AIO Polish?

I just got done polishing my black Camaro. I ended up using Menzerna P083, followed by Menzerna 106ff on a PC7424xp. Results were amazing for a first time polisher like me. But now, I've had all kinds of offers to do friend's and neighbors cars, most being their DDs. I figure I might as well...

Do Glazes really do anything ?

Mirror finish on my Black Camaro using Menzerna and PC7424

Yes--the Camaro is a DD. I first detailed it the same way in September, but without doing the polishing with the PC. It held the shine extremely well all winter, and water still beaded well. I credit the Blackfire Wet Diamond for that. The same results were for my wife's brilliant black...

Mirror finish on my Black Camaro using Menzerna and PC7424

Everything I've read on this CG Glaze is that it best used under your lsp. It has cleaning properties, which work great after you polish to make it lsp ready. I went overboard and washed it after polishing, then did the EZ creme. It is so easy to apply and take off, and makes the surface so...

Mirror finish on my Black Camaro using Menzerna and PC7424

After searching endlessly for a tire dressing, I use Bondo Restore Black. It last months, and doesn't give that ultra shiny "fake" gloss. Just a nice deep matte black that last. I've also used the exact same product in different packaging...called Forever Black. A little pricey, but the...

Mirror finish on my Black Camaro using Menzerna and PC7424

Dripping wet Menzerna polish on my Black Camaro with a PC7424 Just spent all weekend (well, 13 hours!) polishing my 2011 RS. Even after careful waterless washing this winter, I still acquired some swirls that I want to get rid of for the summer. Here's what I did... Washed with Chemical Guys...
