Blackfire Wet Diamond Consistancy

Know separation,I really hope it's fine.

If its correctly mixed, it wont be watery. It will be VERY thin, but not to the point its splashing off of your applicator.

Wet Diamond is on the thinner side though. I prefer Powerlock instead as its much thicker and spreads better IMO. The new Pinnacle Souveran is also really thick and spreads really well. I know they say its a liquid wax, but its more like a sealant with similar durability to powerlock. Its also very bright looking with great water beading.

Bought my first bottle of BFWD last fall but did not use it. Stored it inside. Tried to use it for the first this summer. Came out like water. Shook it up for 10 minutes and no change. Bought a bigger bottle on the advise in this thread. Shook every way I could. Had helpers so we could shake for several minutes. Nothing. Looks like blue chunky water. Meanwhile my 2 year old Meguairs NXT - #26 looks great. I emailed customer service twice and received no replies. Probably some problem on my end. Looks like a waste of money this time around.

I bought a bottle of BFWD back in 2011, and it was the perfect consistancy, like a polish. You could easily place a couple pea size drops on your pad. I used that up finally, and bought a new bottle this spring. It's horrible to use!! Like water!! It runs off the pad, splatters, etc. Hate to spend $40 on a bottle of this again.

Is there anything out there that works as well on a black car, that isn't so runny?

It's not supposed to be that watery... I've used it from 2011-12 and recently and haven't noticed a difference. It took me over five minutes of shaking and repeatedly hitting the bottle against my palm to get it to mix last time I used it.
