Flushed with ONR and water? Is that a rinseless wash, ONR in a bottle, or using ONR to soften the water in a hose/PW?

In my opinion, yes. Once things fade/degrade/etc they often cannot be restored to the same state. If applying something safe and easy will prevent/reduce that degradation is an option, I don't see a downside. :)

Saran wrap, masking tape, and aluminum foil is an alternative to a plastic bag, as mentioned in some long ago threads here and maybe elsewhere.

Anyone know if the TRC ultra clay scrubber mars less than traditional clay? I've seen that implied or directly stated in some places.

I think Ammo NYC has a video -- A video on touch up paint with a Subaru maybe -- where he uses Goof off and talks about this for a few seconds. I believe he said on newer cars it should be okay, but you should still take care etc. Also, Griots Garage used to sell an adhesive remover. I imagine...

Do you do iron remover, high alkaline, then high ph as your standard process, or only when it is determined to be necessary? :D

After using Iron remover (and letting dwell) I rinse it off thoroughly… as opposed to claying or applying a soap, as in other replies here. I’m too worried about it drying on some rubber or plastic somewhere I can’t see. :dunno:

That might be true. I was just talking about the looks; I don’t like the way the bottle looks.

That sounds pretty irreversible to me, but I'm no chemist(?). And I didn't read the article. Then again, I guess there are trim products out there. The cake may not be stale, but that would explain the many bubbles. :D In all serious though, thanks for the response and link.

Sorry, but... Why does plastic trim fade? Also, I might say there are eggs in a cake :eek:

It sounds like you are happy with the McKee's? Was some cleaning ability or dwell time traded off for getting rid of the odor? I'm also looking to buy some wheel cleaner: I was leaning towards GTechniq W6 since the claimed 5-10 minutes dwell time piqued my interest, but an odorless wheel...
