it helps ... i can try polishing a little bit on one section and applying cleaner wax on another section and see which one looks best ... i guess i hope that the cleaner wax will do becuase it will save me time in not having to buff the car out twice ... if it doesn't look right i will just have...

What is the difference between pre wax cleaner and cleaner? Trying to decide what product and pad combo to use on a some what faded but in good condition in terms of scratches red paint.

Yes they are bonnets not pads ... I was just concerned be because I did a test strip applying by hand and a lot of paint came off on my towel

I have a truck coming up and it needs to be compounded and polished before being waxed....i did a test strip to see how much paint would come off on the bonnet ... and alot of paint did in fact come off.... is it ok to keep using the same bonnet even if alot of paint is coming off on to it?
