The polishing worked out well. The paint looked good but there where a lot paint chips. But like I said it was just my first time with 105/205. The sealant will have to be on my next order. I was thinking the 845 was the sealant. Today I just want to add a second cote just to get through for...

step between clay and opti-seal (or klasse)

As far as opticote, being a total newbie i would recommend using it only because it works. And after reading these forums I want to wax my car but can't because the opticote will repel it. That is what is designed for but it isn't as glossy as a sealant or wax but it is VERY VERY useful if your...

    Hard Audi clear and m105

Hi Bill, what kind of polisher are using? I used 5.5 to 6 on my pc just to get the 5.5" pads to turn and remove. I think letting the pros on here know what kind on da you are using will help with the speed recommendation.

    Average hourly wages.

You can try negotiating using his garage to do clients cars after hours instead of a raise. This would help the jump into entrepreneurship. Best of luck

    Average hourly wages.

Your best bet is go to an a stablished detailor who would appreciate your hard work and pay you accordingly. The prices for the vehicles you mentioned can not really account for much more. My dad has dealt with used cars for over forty years and in the same price/profits as mentioned without any...

    Another fine autogeek outcome

Tried it quick today the stain is completely gone after less than a minute of scrubbing and a mf towel. I have tried brushing in sooo many different cleaners that I thought I was actually taking the...

    anyone use

Does anyone use a sheet to mark problem areas. When you go to rent a car they have a sheet showing the body panels and you are supposed to look over the car and circle any problem area so you don't get blamed for dents that where there before you rented it.

    Polishing stop points?

I have a older 2001 blazer that I use in the winter only or as a backup. I want to try using 105/205 but I keep putting it off until I have an extra 20 hours. Which may never happen. Below are the steps that I am going to use. 1.) My question is what parts are ok to stop at? 2.)Can I stop...

    Begginer level extractor

Is there such a thing as an entry level extractor or something equivalent. I am looking for mostly just family vehicles as well as maybe 30 cars a year. I guess I am looking for the cheapest route to get started. Do they have other brands around $300 that just do not have the life span of a...
