    "Free interior detail!" *RANT*

I personally like the shiny look. But I control the amount and don't just spray it all over like a madman.

Can I Use a Spray Wax to Dry?

Excuse my ignorance, but why is a drying aid needed? Adding more moisture to help dry?

Favorite Spray Wax .... How, Why, Uses ??

On that note, I use Armor All's QD spray that also uses carnauba wax. Very thick and leaves a great shine. I know some people frown on armor all stuff, but their wheel cleaner and detail spray work great.

Microfiber Towels (and pads too!): Cleaning and Maintenance

I hand wash my pads, but then again, I don't do anywhere near the business that some of you do. I have time in between jobs, so it's no big deal to hand wash most of my stuff.

I use it also. Good stuff, and can be used in the sun.

    Detailing is hard work

I'm only averaging about $25 an hour, but that's good compared to my day job. I really only want 1 job per week to supplement my regular job.

If You Had $1,500 To Spend, What Essentials Would You Buy?

I think people are overthinking things. Go with what you know. Be yourself.

    Detailing is hard work

Amen. I might be able to do it 2-3 times a week. Tops. Anyone that does it full time is an athlete in my opinion.

    Detailing is hard work

I guess I love it then. I've only done 10 or so jobs, but it feels right. Even though it physically kicks my ass. I feel alive when I'm doing a car, and enjoy the challenges. I have a lot to learn, but that will come with experience just like anything else.

    Detailing is hard work

Just did my first job of the year, and wow, was I sore. Took me 9 hrs in the Georgia heat. (very large truck) Anyone who thinks pro detailing is easy work is nuts. I have a lot of respect for those that do it.

Hello from Rochester, NY, home of snow and salt

I used to live in Rochester for 30 years. You can keep the snow and salt up there, thank you. I'm now near Atlanta in the sunbelt. Never going back up north. Good luck trying to keep that car clean and rust free.

What sealant/wax for matte paint finish?

Usually there's a quick response. Part of the reason I just go solo now. I dig some people's responses, but I'm good by myself. (until I need help) ;) Sorry I couldn't answer your question.

Favorite quick detail spray? I have one for ya

After trying out all of the major brands, I've come to the conclusion that Armor All's Quick Detail spray is by far the best. I know what you're thinking, so hear me out. Most of the other brands I've tried are very "watery" and seem to strip the paint of anything on it. AA is very thick with...

Facebook users start "like"ing our pages

F facebook. If I need to punch in the name of a business, and go to facebook, I'll leave. Say what you want, but I'm not going to be a part of facejunk. I'd use more expletives, but Id get in trouble for it. Face*&%$ is BS.

    Phone number on buiness cards..

Craigslist! I've been getting 3-4 calls a week from that. I can't always do it for them, but it's nice to know people are calling.

    Computer desk

Try office depot, staples, and places like that. I got one with similar dimensions as what you want and it was only $50.
