I have been using Megs 105 followed by Megs 205 after I damp sand this fresh clear coat. I am thinking trying some Menzerna (Powergloss) PG1000 in place of Megs 105 ??? Then What? (Super Intensive Polish) IS1500 in place of Megs 205??? Followed by SF 4500 PO85RD How does this sound?

That's true I never thought about it but when the disk spins and the disc starts wearing out the paper gets clogged with seeds of sanding dust. Those seeds or clumps of dust are what makes the tails. (When the disc is spinning) That's why I like damp sanding because it creates the moist slurry...

I just used my 3" GG to wet sand a freshly painted fender. It rocks! Does it get warm? Sure a little. But it is so much lighter than the pc7424 and a 3" sanding disc works so much better on curved and tight areas!

What about those 4" Chemical Guys self centering pads above? Are they OK for the 3" GG polisher? Or should I stick to 3" only low profile pads on this little machine?
