Mike, did you use the same tangerine hydro tech pad to apply the 111 polish/sealant that used when you applied the 501? Overall, considering the quality of the paint job, the end results were very impressive!

I will probably use the Tangerine hydro tech pad when I apply the 4:1 501/601 mixture and the crimson pad when I apply the 4:1 105/601 mixture then.

When applying either 501 or 105 do you need to prime your pad or just apply four droplets to the pad? Also I have the hydro tech pads, would the tangerine pad be the right choice for the application?

I'm sorry I got mixed up when I asked does 601 have any ability to remove swirls. I should have asked do Duragloss 501 or Duragloss 105 have any cutting ability for removing minor swirls on a newer vehicle with paint in good condition?

I called Duragloss and the rep I spoke to said to apply 601/105 at a ratio of 4:1. He asked me about the condition of my paint when I asked about the 501. My truck is 3 months old and the paint is still in good condition and he said that I probably didn't need the 501. My question is does 601...

So are you saying apply 601 then 501 then 601 the 105? And you recommend waiting 2 hours between applications? I'm a rookie and these may be stupid questions.

Would be a good practice to apply a 501, follow it up with 601 than apply a layer of 105?
