QD / Waterless Wash for McKee's 37 Paint Coating

Looking for a QD / Waterless wash that I can keep in the car in case I need in while on the road. Plan to use it minimally, but have it in case something comes up, such as a bird pooping on the car. Any recommendations? Looking for something that is not going to negatively impact the coating...

    Lexus Self-Healing Paint

Thanks. I really like the McKee's 37 Coating. I'm not really good at describing the various characteristics, but overall, it looks great. My main goal was protecting the paint, and minimizing maintenance beyond the usual proper car washes. Hoping that the protection lasts at least a year.

    Lexus Self-Healing Paint

I ended up giving the McKee's 37 Paint Coating a shot. It went on well and didn't flash as fast as I thought it would (some say it is immediate). Temp in garage was in the low 70s at the most.

    Lexus Self-Healing Paint

I recently saw a few different threads around people have difficulty applying coatings, such as PBL, which is similar to the McKee coating. I am thinking of using Collinite 845 wax before, because I am now concerned about applying a coating.

My unbiased (nightmare) review of PBL V2 Diamond paint coating and Wolfgang Uber Ceramic

I am going to be applying the McKee's 37 paint coating, which is similar to the PBL coating. Hoping I don't run into similar issues. One big difference will be the temp. For me, the temp will be in the 60's to low 70's in my garage.

    Lexus Self-Healing Paint

I love it, very high tech, at least compared to the vehicles that I have owned in the past. Currently have about 50 miles on the car total. Have kept it in the garage until I can get around to applying a paint coating to it (probably this weekend). Going to use the McKee 37 coating, since it...

    Lexus Self-Healing Paint

Based on what I am hearing in this discussion, I should be careful. I think I will skip the clay. I will wash, apply the McKee Coating Prep Polish by hand, and then apply the McKee Paint Coating. Any issue with this? This is a new car with less than 100 miles, and has been garaged since purchase.

Self-healing clearcoat on the 2016 Lexus RX from the factory. I didn't have any additional paint protection/coating added by the dealer.

    Lexus Self-Healing Paint

Thanks. Also, would it be fine to use a paint coating rather than a wax? Such as the McKee paint coating.

    Lexus Self-Healing Paint

I purchased a brand new Lexus RX 350, which is touted as having "Self-Healing Paint". Apologize for resurrecting an old thread, but didn't want to create a completely new thread. I am looking to play it safe when using various auto detailing chemicals. Do you guys know if this respirator will offer decent protection?    3M? Chemical Odor Valved Respirator

    Interior Protectant

Thanks everyone. Also, forgot to mention in my original post. Trying to find something that is non-toxic as possible, given that I have an infant who will ride in the car.
