    How to remove overspray?

Ah okay. Should I just keep buffing on the part I have dulled? I can get the shine back, yes?

    How to remove overspray?

We used a compound I don't recall the name of and a wool pad on a buffer as well as by hand with a microfiber. The buffer and wool pad were on another area and the cloth was on this particular spot. The compound had a similar texture to my Meguier's Ultimate but I think it was by 3M. I didn't...

    How to remove overspray?

Background info: My father repainted an old car with Delfleet Evolution Single Stage Polyurethane Enamel. He told me he has 3 layers down. Unfortunately he has overspray in some spots. How do we remove overspray? We tried traditional polishing methods but they seemed to make it worse:

How do you get the roof when you're short?

Fantastic. I'll keep an eye out then. What with me being cheap and everything.

How do you get the roof when you're short?

Got it. Image URL had an extra "://" in it.

How do you get the roof when you're short?

No clue. I'm on tapatalk so that might be it. Hosted images seem to always work though.

How do you get the roof when you're short?

I don't see a picture or anything. Just a broken image placeholder.

How do you get the roof when you're short?

See I do have a "Ladderkart" (it is exactly what the name says) that I use for all kinds of things. It's pretty awkward though. Probably because I have to work in a sloped stone driveway. It fits and stays in my trunk. I'm looking for a better method. So basically we short folks are all in...

    Maybe my Select-A-Size shorts? :-D

How do you get the roof when you're short?

Do you lean against the car for support? People were screaming at me for just using paper towels on bird poop. Heaven forbid my pants touch.

How do you get the roof when you're short?

I do that with my Contour but I don't have the wingspan to get to the center of something bulgy like the Taurus. I also can't use the buffer one handed. Well, I can, but the lack of control makes it dangerous to both me and the car. Can you recommend a platform? It would have to be non-level...

How do you get the roof when you're short?

I meant more along the lines of hitting it with my buffer. I do have a telescoping brush for washing.

How do you get the roof when you're short?

Per the title. I'm a mere 5'1. I'm not even tall enough to be the needle on a sun dial. I can barely get my small sedan roof (1999 Contour, my avatar) with a ladder. How would you recommend I do larger vehicles? Trucks I figure I can stand on the bed and SUVs I can crawl up there and work my way...

    Bird Sh*t!

Thanks. I thought it would have been obvious due to my mention of dew, but this was fresh poo on a cool morning (55°F or thereabouts). It literally slid off the way a towel glides over wax. No scrubbing. I wouldn't have taken a paper towel to hardened poo on a dry 100°F day at high noon.

    Bird Sh*t!

I agree. Maybe taking off makes them grunt. It's not that hard to show defects. Not when you're a professional photographer anyway.

    Bird Sh*t!

Here's where the bird poo was. I haven't rewaxed the area. I don't see micro abrasians though.

    Wet/Dry Vac Horsepower Needs?

I want to thank everyone for their input. You all brought up vacs I didn't know existed and your expertise is a huge help. Sorry I didn't see your link before. Thanks for this review. I had never heard of the P51 but I believe that's the one I'll buy...eventually. I can't say money is no...

    Bird Sh*t!

Yeah I didn't have to wet the towel though as the roof was covered in dew and the poop was fresh. The wax is Collinite 870, for what it's worth.

    Bird Sh*t!

Oh I'm not worried. I'm just questioning that guy freaking out.
