How do you get the roof when you're short?

Just get some Eibach's

Then put it on air bags to raise it while driving it and lower it while Detailing it.
 
I do that with my Contour but I don't have the wingspan to get to the center of something bulgy like the Taurus. I also can't use the buffer one handed. Well, I can, but the lack of control makes it dangerous to both me and the car.

Can you recommend a platform? It would have to be non-level surface compatible.


I got my work platform from home depot for $44 dollars it is made my Werner
 
No clue. I'm on tapatalk so that might be it. Hosted images seem to always work though.

Yep, I did the same thing (don't recall if it was Black Friday or xmas eve special) but got it half price. It's the only way I can reach the roof of my wife's Sequoia.
 
construct your own working platform from wood? hinge the legs and add grip tape?

*shrug*
 
I use a 4 foot step ladder and a little balance. Sometimes the extra height can over come having to reach so far over or leaning on the paint.
